Am I not getting it?

Just started session 4 and worried that I'm not where I should be with the program. I haven't started exercising yet and journaling everyday has been tough. I know I've improved alittle I'm just wondering if anyone else feels this way. I don't know if I can completely get over the anxiety and depression. I hope to be like the people on the cd's where panic is a thing of the past.

Nicole if you want to get better, you have to do the work. Start out small, for exercise maybe go for a short walk or pop in an exercise dvd.As for the journaling, remember that no one is reading what you write. It has helped me to let my feelings out and sometimes once their on paper I see them in a different light. Try it, even if it's only a few sentences. We have to trust that the success of others has come from all of the program. Yes you can completely recover! We can do it.

Remember to try not to be perfect. Do what you can do and give up the thought that you have to do it perfectly in order to reap the rewards. For me the exercise part was easy. I have a hard time fitting in the time to do the relaxation session and listen to the cd. Continue to do the best that you can. If you can say that you are doing your best and honestly mean it then you are doing fine. Try not to compare yourself to where you think others are. You are where you are. Continue to think positive.
