hi everyone,
does anyone else get bored with doing the relaxation cd?
i have a.d.d. and i can't stand doing the same thing every day, much less twice a day, and i've never done it 3 times.
i do see the benefit, and i do want to relax, i just hate that it's the same one all the time.
i wanted to switch between that one and different relaxtions/meditations, but i don't know if that's that's ok to do.

what do you all think?

Well my opinion is n e relaxation cd, or tape would work. whatever can relax you, i mean i do get bored too on the relaxation cd but i know it has worked for so many people so i am just trying to stick with it.
But i believe what ever can relax you will help so much... I am a stay at home mom for the past 5 years and i hardly ever get to relax but then when i got the program and the relaxation cd's i finely made time so i can listen to them. It's wonderful

I hope this helped.

Hi, I rarely listen to Lucinda's tape because the breathing countdown is too long compared to my normal breathing. I would always be way ahead of Lucinda as she spoke and it got distracting. So I started using a relaxation CD that I got from Crowne Plaza when I was on vacation. It was there in the hotel room as a gift for guests. I brought it home and really like it. It's the same progressive relaxation, but the breathing is more in tune with my body. And it's much longer than Lucinda's so I feel I get more of a benefit. There are a ton of relaxation CD's out there that you can buy. Maybe even find one at the library. Good luck with the program!!

thanks so much everyone.
that takes a big load off my mind.

and you know, now that you mention it EMMAtophobia, i did manage to get myself out of bed and listen to my favorite music, and i really did feel totally different.
but no one has ever talked about that before- i'm impressed.
thank you again.
