Hi my name is Kelley. I started the program 3 weeks ago. I am in week 3 and learning about self talk. This is going to be difficult. I have alot of family issues to deal with and think very negatively about several people. I need to learn to quit concentrating on these people.

Hi Kelly, welcome! I am also on session 3, my advice is to do your part and it will get better. I think this program will help us to think healthy thoughts and develop healthy attitudes. We CAN break the bad habit of negative thinking! We have a choice about what thoughts we entertain. As for the family issues, think of how much better equipped you are becoming in the program. If you need to seek the help of others: counselors, pastor or spiritual advisor, or someone who has healthy relationships. You are not alone.

Hi Kelly, I am on week 3 also. When you grow up with low self esteem, it's tough to change that. I believe I have a superior inferiority complex. I have felt that way since a started school. It's a challenge to catch yourself and flip to the positive. I know we can do it.
