session 3 having trouble with it

I'm in trouble with session 3 I have so many negative thoughts I am on depression and anxiety meds I am 53 and have been dealing with this almost all of my life I am having problems with catching myself whenever I have a negative thought I am having with stopping and replacing a negative thought with a positive one If anyone has or had the same problem with session 3 please let me know how your getting thropugh it or how you got through it

I'm catching my negative thoughts, but not quite writing them down because it would take a long time! :D But I've already gone through a program with David Burns Feeling Good Workbook on 10 days to self esteem and which helped me. Ninja talks about it more on Session 7 or 8. Otherwise, you can find the "lie" in the negative thought and write that down as a rebuttal.

Then keep arrowing down to rebut the next negative thought that will come up against the Putting the Lie to the neg. thought. It will take some practice.
