Jodi, thank you for sharing your experience with Welbutrin. Did Chantix not affect you at all? I was scared to take it with all of the suicide risks. Please let me know. Take care.

Jodi, I'd like to hear about your experience with Chantix as well. I'm thinking of talking to my doctor about it at my next appt in a couple weeks. Thanks for any feedback you can give!

tiffany, i did'nt realy no about the suicide effects wellbutrin has, i ofcourse was prescribe it and desperate to feel better. after taking it my panic attacks were the worst and i was coming out of my skin, i really thought i would die, so i got off it and never went back on it. LADY, i went on the chantix and almost imediatly felt relaxed, it blocks the nicotine from your resepters in the brain or something like that,, its been a year, you smoke the first week an quit after that, it worked great for me, except after i uped it the second week it interacted with my clonapin and i had to take lower doses, so after 3 wks i got off it and am smoke free. good luck, god bless, jodi

The first and second CD's were the most difficult for me but what helped comfort me was hearing Lucinda say that we may feel anxious while listening to the cd's at first and that's ok. I not only became anxious when listening to the first two sessions, but I broke down crying. It was so difficult to hear and comprehend that the people Lucinda was describing, was also me. I have always been a strong person and have battled many difficult situations, but my anxiety and depression simply cracked me and shook me to my very core. I begin session #4 today and listening to the cd's has gotten much easier. I have been panic free for about a month now and this program has done wonders for me. Don't give up on listening to the cd's. They will make you anxious at first, but it's just a feeling. It will go away :D
