Help, question!

Post by Racer23 » Fri Mar 11, 2011 10:19 am

I am just starting Session 3 and I REALLY hope it works because I have trouble turning positive when Im freaking out. has anyone figured out how to transition this.

But I have a question. I have heard on the cds that when the program came there was a paper that discussed what your "safe person" is supposed to do if you are panicking. what they are supposed to say and do to you. I think I accidentally through that out? can someone tell me what that said? what is the safe person supposed to do to help you, so I can let that person know?

I have the same problem myself...when I am calm Im like ok i can do this but once that panic sets in i am a total mess....i do admit though that if i lay down and do the breathing no matter how hard it is it does pass a little bit faster than if i totally freak out....another thing i did this morning for the first time was meditation and that helped a little bit....I am trying things that before i would think were total bs because i am desperate and willing to try anything....i was looking through the workbook and in the back page 204 there is a partners guideline...it lists the things that the person should do and shouldnt do...hope this helps.
