new to the program
I'm just starting my 4th week. It seems like the anxiety is always on my mind. Is anyone else feeling like that?
Re: new to the program
I am that way too....I feel like I am either having the anxiety, or thinking about the fact that I'm not, or wondering if I'm going to. Drives me nuts!
I'm only on week 2, but hoping this helps.
I want my life back!!

Im on wk 2. And starting couciling next wk. I think about Panic Attacks more now, b/c I fear everything I "feel" is a symptom. Its just a hard "circle of events".. but, I am also praying more, and I think it will get better, and easier on me. I hope so.

Re: new to the program
I just started week 2 as well. I found this made me a little more anxious because now I'm always thinking about it and remembering my first panic attack, which was five years ago and realizing I've been suffering from anxiety as early as high school. I fear everthing as well and everything is "What If" with me, I can't stop my mind. I am hopefull that this program is going to help as I've never heard of any other kind of help for this and just happened to catch the commercial about a month ago and figured "it must be a sign". Everything I do on a day to day basis makes me anxious, so it's time to get it under control.
Re: new to the program
I am just like you. I wake up every morning wondering if I'm going to have an anxiety attack and it seems to be on my mind just about all day until my husband gets home. That's part of what causes an anxiety attack - thinking about the next one. Since we are the cause of our anxiety, we have to learn to let it go, but it's not as easy as it sounds. I wish there was some miracle pill for it, but since it's not, we just have to learn that we created it and only we can get rid of it.

Re: new to the program
Hey guys, don't let anticipatory anxiety get to you! Just because you think you're going to have a panic attack doesn't mean it's going to happen. You can certainly work yourself up to one with negative thinking, but if you take the other fork in the road then you can avoid one all together. :] Try and stop the negative thinking that comes along with anticipating an anxiety attack and replacing it with a positive one. You'll learn a lot about it in session 3.

I have also started wk 2. I am not connecting with this session, but I am learning about how other people might be feeling.
