on the track but just want to stop and hide
on the track but just want to stop and hide
Everything I am doing is generally right I am working on everything but the soul of me seems absent. I just want to dissolve to be the nothing that I feel. Now that the anxiety isn't there I am absent; empty. What do you do when progress feels worse?

You tell yourself that it isn't worse, that it's better. You tell yourself that you're on your way to being better, that feeling like nothing now is OK for now. Session 3 goes more over self-talk, so it's a temporary situation: Before you know it, this feeling will be over.

Thank you I am familiar with self-talk as my counselor has been trying desperately to get me fluent in it, I just don't seem to catch on to positive thinking very well. With this said saying it is ok to feel bad for now as I work on getting better computes much better with me, thank you so much.

Well, you're very welcome.
I thought of something else. Remember how people say, "It has to get worse before it gets better?" Well, you're in that place right now. But definitely don't look at this emptiness as a bad thing. You've emptied your glass of dirt, so now you have room for water. You just don't know how to feel those good feelings yet, but you'll be learning that in Session 3.
