can panic attacks cause you to lie?

Post by jumpersgirl1 » Tue Jun 28, 2011 1:15 pm

i have been having trouble with lying to my boyfriend to the point that he has broke up with me, we are trying to work things out and when i tell him the truth he wont believe me. he pushes and pushes and my heart starts racing and i just end up telling him a lie cause he didnt believe the truth, no matter how many times i told him the truth and it has not changed. i will end up lying just cause i know that if i dont tell him just what he wants to hear, he wont drop it but as soon as i tell him what he wants to hear, he pushes for details? is my lying caused by my panice attacks of the fear he is not believing me?? please help

Hi jumpersgirl,
You probably are not going to like what I am going to say, but .... why you want to be with someone who doesn't believe you?...
Trust is one of the basic things in a relationship. If he doesn't believe you, he doesn't trust you...
There are other fish in the ocean ;)
