I have been going over and over the info in session 2 and I kept on thinking that it couldn't be that easy. The only real way is to test it.Today I went to Wal-mart. I'm familiar with the place and I know the layout of the store. I try to go during the off-peak times so I wont get sucked into the crowd. When I walked through the doors everything was turned upside down. Walls were ripped ddown, aisles were moved.Nothing was where it was supposed to be.This wasn't right. This is wrong. It took longer to get through the store and more people started to arrive. Grocery carts were bottle-necked in several of the aisles. Several of the shelves were bare. This was my time to run. I've been wanting to run ever since I walked through the door. I don't like chaos I like to have everything in neat little rows. That's when everything started to hit the panic button. People were getting way too close. My heart was racing and I felt like I was gonna pass out. Here it is. Somewhere in the back of my mind the six steps clicked. I din't run to my car. I stayed there. This is a panic attack and I know that I can handle this. Breathe. Iam calm I am relaxed. My sister who has been my safe person forever looked over at me. She was a little worried about me, until she saw the grin on my face. This is working. These sessions are worth double what I paid for it. Actually, their priceless. It's time for me to start putting these steps into action in the big things that I'm avoiding. I'm ready for Session 3!
