I decided to stop drinking Coffee and my two heeping sugars with it.It's killing me. There was nothing more relaxing than 2-3 cups in the morning and 1-2 cups when I got home.
I'm relly trying to change my life and straighten out my thinking so the program says stop caffine and sugar so thats what I will try to do.
Is it me or is their a withdrall factor here. I quit sunday, Today is monday and my anxiety was through the roof for 4 hours this morning.
2 days clean, No Coffee

I had the same problem, only with Coke (Soda)! Believe me it was hard. I have been tappering off for about a month now and I feel great! You will have withdrawls and cravings, it is an addiction! I started by cutting my consumption in half for the first week or two. I would have one soda every other day or 1/2 soda a day and then 1/2 soda every other day, and then a half of soda every 3-4 days. Sometimes, if I felt my self wanting it, IN the 3rd week I would pour a glass and take a few sips to at least let my tongue have the taste, then give the rest to my husband or leave it sit there until it got flat and pour it down the drain. Tward the end of the 3rd and now into the forth week I find I am not craving it at all! I will have a few sips of a non-caffinated soda now if I do find myself wanting it, but I quickly find, that is not what I want and don't drink it. I have now been completely off coke for 1-1.5 weeks. I have lots more energy ironically, (no ups and downs in blood sugar). I am also taking the vitamins, which I felt helped curb my appetite and cravings. My body is finally getting what it needed. Caffiene to, while I though it was helping me feel better, was just letting me get all stressed and anxiety and depression was worse shortly after drinking it! I didn't realize it until I logged it into my journal!
Hope this gives you encouragement! It is hard to do, but you can do it! Make sure you exercise too (cardio-I've been walking everyday briskly for 30-60 minutes), it helps get your serotonin levels up, and gives you more energy!
