I have read that some people experience panic attacks that last all day. Recently I have had this trembling feeling that lasts all day and makes me feel like I am going to go crazy. It eases off sometimes but is usually there the whole day. Sometimes I catch myself going into panic thinking about it cause it scares me but I relax and the panic goes away but the trembling resides. I am not shaky physically it is just this feeling inside like tremors. I have had all the blood work done and everything is ok but this feeling has lasted for 2 days straight. If anyone else experiences this can I get some advice from you?

Hi. I'm not sure if panic attacks last all day. They don't usually last longer than a couple of hours but even that's a long time. The symptoms you are describing just sounds like anxiety. But its just a high level of anxiety and your body is extremely sensitized so the more you think about it, the more adreneline your body releases and the worse it gets. Your adreneline is being released by your body as a coping mechanism but there is no where for the adreneline to go because you are not releasing any of that energy. Try to think positive thoughts.
Anxiety is living in the future, Depression is living in the past.

Hi Rosalie1,
I understand what your talking about. I feel that way and I agree with hunnie33 that it is high anxiety. what helps me is caffeine-FREE tea. I like this one called "Tension Tamer Tea" and I am sure you have heard this one, but working out helps you release your adrenaline and energy, plus it boosts the "natural feel good" in your brain. Its difficult to get in the gym but just try to go for 15 monutes, you will be surprised.. each time you will want to stay longer and push your self more. Take care and best wishes,
Juls

What medication are you on? I took Geodon for a while and about the 7th week I got extremely sick. I felt like I was shaking from the inside all over and had numbness and several other symptoms. I was having serious side effects from Geodon. I even ended up with Diabetes from it, but the diabetes is starting to get under control with diet. Bottom line, the drug made me sick like that. What meds are you on and how long have you been on them?

I am not on any meds. I do get scared though thinking it is diabetes but I was tested in June for the same feelings I am having now and everything came back ok. That is why I was wondering if anxiety can cause this. Thank You guys for helping out!!

Rosaslie,
What is going on is that your mind and body are overly sensetized. During paninc attacks or great deal of stress, our body releases adrenaline and cortizone, which puts our body in the 'fight or flight' mode, but we are not in danger and we dont work off the extra adrenaline, which in turn makes us shakey! I learned this a few months ago and wow, just knowing what was going on helped me settle down. Everyone on this forum has had concerns of something being physically wrong with them and that is normal with anxiety, so get in the lessons and learn how to get rid of this stuff.
If u want further explaination of this, pm me.

Keep working away at the program, it works!!!!
I felt that exact same way for a year and didn't leave my house another year after that. My dad gave me the program and after the first session I felt a little better. It takes a lot of time and dedication but it does work. Panic attacks can not hurt you and you can't feel icky and scared forever. :)

Hi Rosalie,

I have felt exactly what you are experiencing- the trembling feeling on the inside and it used to make me to feel afraid to move a muscle, literally. If I'm not careful I can start it up again by thinking about it. As soon as I think about it and if I let the thought scare me, which it usually does, then the internal shaking feeling starts and I feel more scared which causes me to feel more shaky on the inside- a vicious cycle to say the least. The best way I've found to deal with this is to get my mind on something else. Do something, read, talk to someone-but not about what you're feeling because you need to put this out of your mind. For me at least, I was totally focused on my internal symptoms and nothing else. So I needed to get outside of myself with my thoughts and the scary symptoms would disappear. I hope what I have tried to convey to you isn't too confusing and hopefully may help you in some small way. Take care, Rosalie and God bless!
