Try wellbutrin if you are concerened about the weight gain. It is an SNII type drug which from what I have been told actually increases metabolism. I am not sure if that is medical fact but I know a few people who are taking and and sy they feel more energetic. Good luck

I was on paxil for 4 years and gained approx 30 lbs during that time. I attriute it to a couple factors: 1) it is known to increase carb cravings 2) because I felt good on it - i tended to eat more as I am a "happy eater". When I am anxcious or depressed I tend not to eat. I heard Wellbutrin and Cymbalta are anorexics - meaning they tend to make you lose weight.
