Hi Beth, with the burping is sounds like it may be related to GERD or hiatal hernia. I found out earlier this year that I have a hiatal hernia and often after I eat - sometimes two hours later - I get bloating and burping and the heart palps start. I know they are related with me. Hope you get to feeling better.

My prayers go out to all of you experiencing unwanted symptoms of anxiety/depression. Stay strong! KEEP THE FAITH! and continue fighting the good fight. (: I myself, have heart palpitations on the regular.. usually when I'm really anxious/overwhelmed/angry. but also when I'm anticipating general tasks, from going to the store to picking up the phone. I find that during times of general anxiety I will get lighter palpitations, feel nauseous and light headed but once I sneeze I feel normal.. well, as normal as it gets for me. anyone ever heard of this? it only happens some sometimes but it has happened quite a bit. seems weird to me?

Crystal lynn this scares me. The dr did some more tests. He did a big test on me. He did a sonogram on my heart. they took video of the heart, the valves, the beats, they took video and photos of my entire heart from top to bottom. They said it was healthy.

I have been reading that so many people have this same thing. Some people are older, younger. Best part is it hasn't really turned out to be anything more than anxiety in almost all of them.

I am going to go to a gastro dr next just in case.

Stay strong Beth! And remember to be positive! Heart palpitations are a symptom for many of us struggling with anxiety and depression. Another doctors visit may not be necessary ecspecially after your heart sonogram came back healthy.. you could be causing yourself more anxiety with all these doc visits. Most of the symptoms associated with anxiety aren't fun, but we can learn to accept our symptoms. That's the first step in making a change..

God Bless (:

Thankyou Crystal Lynn for your help. You are a real help. I hope you know that.

You are right that i need to just stay focused on the course and stop running to so many Dr's.

I am practicing the 6 steps. They have stopped me from going to the Er several times already.

I cannot wait for the lesson on scary thoughts. I think once I overcome that I will almost there.

The diet session will probably be helpful too.
