Panic Attack Set Back!!!
I totally understand about the blood sugar thing, I am getting less afraid that I am secretly hypoglcemic, but every once in awhile it scares me when I feel weird and think about it. My husband is a type one diabetic (the more rare one where your pancreas don't work at all, has nothing to do with weight, he's very slender) and has been since he was ten. While it's true that he can get shaky when he goes low, his mind slows down as well. He can hardly talk sometimes, and talks slowly.
My cousin who is strictly hypoglycemic said she just wants to lay down and fall asleep. So I'm starting to recognize that the feeling I get with the shakiness is wanting to jump out of my skin, if I were truly hypoglycemic, I would be starting to slow down.
Does that make sense to you? If you've been tested, you know you are fine, it's just our minds playing with us! I've never been tested besides the general test during pregnancy, but I've used my hubby's glucometer at home and I've always been fine.
Don't beat yourself up for not making it to the store either, the fact that you STILL went even though you were feeling anxious is an accomplishment. And you'd already been shopping earlier. I hate shopping, makes me anxious =)
take care,
Ocean
