What do you do for a living?
I am a constant chronic worrier and can't help but feel like I'm going to just croak any moment due to the constant physical symptoms (I posted earlier). On top of that I own/operate a successful restaurant in my neighboring city in California. There is a constant flow of hungry customers that file in for lunch without much time to wait. The money is great but the stress is hell. The love I have for my wife and children and my desire to be a good provider is what keeps me going in everyday. Just wondering if others' jobs minimze or increase your anxiety.

A lot of times it is not the position, as much as the reaction, delegation, and amount of pressure applied to yourself. I myself found the book, If You Want it Done Right, You Don't Have to Do it Yourself!, by Donna M. Gennet, Ph.D. Check it out--it really changed my perspective. I wish you the best of luck!

My job is about 95% of my anxiety- I work in the child abuse/neglect prevention field. People say "just quit" but it's not that easy. I'm trying absolutely EVERY avenue I can to make myself healthy enough to tough out this rewarding job.

I feel you man I have a stressful job to I'm a paramedic... I actually love my job and don't think I would be complete living without it but over the years it has caused so much stress some days I can't take it any more
