Posting on here

I find it very difficult to post my concerns or thoughts on here. This part of the program makes me feel most uncomfortable, even to the point of stressful. I'm not good at sharing, if I have learned anything about how I feel it is how to hide it and not talk about it. I'm not sure how I will do this.

I am the same way. I do not feel very comfortable opening up to people. However; I want to get better and am willing to step out of my comfort zone and give it a try. Good for you for doing the same. If you get to the point that you are ready to share, I'm ready to be a part of the process. I am a 38 year old, mother of 4, who finally realized what my problem is. Exciting and scary at the same time! I hope that we can both become more comfortable and open up about our problems. I have faith that by doing this we are taking some of the first steps to changing our lives.

Thank you Jen,
I agree, I want to get better and stepping out of my comfort zone is what I need. This step of connecting with others seems scary but what a relief to have others out there and to be able to support, and share in the process. Thank you for replying to my post. I feel like I'm ready to share more, as everything else I've done with the program has made such a difference already that I don't want to leave this out. Even if I can't see whats on the other side and I find that a little scary too. I'm a 39 year old mother of 3, and wish I had found this sooner.

Replying is so hard. I second guess everything I write and so with that If they are short, I am not allowing myself to question what I'm writing and just sending before I delete it all.

Hello,
I am a 41 year old mother of 2. I have been struggling with this for over 10 years and wish I had found it sooner too! I am on lesson 2, and it has been amazing how much better I feel. I've never had a problem sharing with others but have my own limitations. I don't know if you have tried the " mini-chat" or not, but it has been great every time I have logged into it. You could even go to the chat and just watch the conversation for a while, and decide if you want to join in or not, but the real time interaction is priceless. We WILL get better! One day at a time..........baby steps :)
Have a better than great day!, Dana11
