Hi,

Well, I am on session 2 and working hard. I have mild anxiety today about losing the rest of my weight which is 20-25 lbs. I don't know how to deal with the thoughts that I have. The fear is I won't lose, and I'm stuck with it. I don't know why this bothers me or causes me to worry so much so..... I have acknowledged that I am a worrier and that is the foundation of my problem. I am learning and look forward to learning more tools on how to stop being a worrier. I take full responsibility for this learned behavior. I look forward to be rid of it. So, how do I stop worrying about the fear of not succeeding at my weightloss goal. I suppose this sounds silly. The ironic part of all of this is I am starting my masters program to be a clinical psychologist! How funny is that! Thanks for listening.

Hey, you are going to do just fine. Just keep telling yourself that. I've lost weight and gained some back as I go through menopause. I worry about the same thing, but also know that women can lose weight at any age. it is just adjusting to new things. Keep working the program, you'll become less of a worrier as you practice. paislee

Hi Debbie,

I know what you're going through. I worry about everything all the time as well, and then to top it off I worry about how much I worry. One thing that helps me when I'm on a spin is to take a deep breath , and go for a walk. Realize that worrying wont make a difference on how successful you will be at achieving your weight loss goals. There's nothing worrying will do for you except for making you tired, and working against you in your daily life. When I get anxious I always say to myself, this worry is not going to fix anything. I just have to take the proper steps to get to where I want to be, and go from there.

Hope this helps you.

Karen
