constantly fearing about dying
I know exactly how you feel. I have been afraid of dying since I was a young child. I remember when I was around 7 or 8 and I cut my foot really bad and my dad was carrying me to the ER...I was screaming "I don't want to die, please don't let me die". I think it's part of our anxiety. We are very sensitive people. I am a little better now as I get older. I think it's a shame that we can't really LIVE life to the fullest because we are soo afraid of DYING. I try to keep my mind occupied with other things and try positive thinking. I used to get an ache or pain and think it was all kinds of diseases. Now I try to just say "Oh, it's nothing, just a sore muscle, etc....it will be okay tomorrow". Good luck and God Bless!

Sometimes, I really fear death of myself or a loved one. I can't imagine ever loosing my husband, I love him so much. I depend on him. I used to fear panic attacks because I was afraid of dying from them, now I know I can't dye from them, although they are terrifying. For some reason the whole passing over thing scares me. I want it to be peaceful, but I fear the transition. Maybe the not knowing part. In my religion though, we believe death is like sleep. Sleep is similar to death because when we are over come we fall asleep, death is similar.
