Hi,

I would try a combination of things. Try listening to some non vocal relaxation music. Find some lavender aroma therapy spray and spray some on your pillows, lavender lotion to rub into your hands, enjoy a warm cup of chamomile tea and prayers just before you go to sleep.

Prepare yourself for a night of relaxing sleep. It may be different from your current routine, but sometimes that is what you have to do. Change what you are currently doing, to try to obtain a different result.

If you do get awaken by a nightmare, try to remember it is just a nightmare, and try to do some relaxation breathing to help you get a handle on things. If you have used the lavender lotion on your hands before you laid down to sleep, and your sleep has been disturbed, and causes you to get panicky, bring your hands to your face and breathe in with the breathing techniques suggested here.

If you do a google search for bed and bath works, you will find a site that sells items for aroma therapy, such as, lavender lotion, bath salts, and lavender sprays. Or try stopping in at your neighborhood nutrition shop to see if they have these items. You have to pull out the stops, to try to get the rest you need. You have a lot of stuff to keep you going with the young ones and you really do need to conquer these problems so you can get your rest.

I pray that all this may help, and I am sure that others will chime in with other ideas.

I just thought about something, while you are spraying your pillow with lavender spray, why not try it on your children's pillows too. Lavender smells so good.

I'd give you the link to the site mentioned, but links to commercial sites are not allowed. Sorry, they make the rules, but you will find this easy enough.

God's blessings to you and your children.

Hi dorohty,

I too had a horrible time getting sleep. I used to wake up every 45 minutes to 1 hour every night. I bought some rescue relief, and little by little over a period of about 6 weeks, I am not getting 5 hours of straight sleep. I take 4 drops in the morning and 4 drops in the evening.

Yes, it has a slightly bitter taste, but you can add it to juice or tea and that should resolve issues people object to so the taste doesn't deter you from wanting to continue in the treatment. It is safe and has no ill side effects, and contra-indications. I have seen posts that knock this product by people that are not convinced they can get by the taste. That being the case, they probably never gave it a real chance to work, nor were they resourceful in its use.

This is s mild natural calming agent with no ill known side effects. I gave it to my cat (1 drop 2 times a day) and she sleeps very well throughout the night versus waking up in a panic and waling like a baby, and that has all stopped.

Dorohty, this morning I was inspired to write a poem. This makes 4 in the last 4 weeks.

I can not give you a link to the vitacost site but that is where I get rescue relief. Best price, even better than the manufacturer.

I hope you get a chance to check it out and give it a try. You might be able to get the other things there too. They can get stuff out to you in 2-3 days using the regular shipping. I hope all this helps and that you enjoy the poems.

Take care and God bless,
