Re: This is my story............
Stay with the 15 lessons in the course, it will help you. Lesson 3 will be a good one for you, about thinking positive and shifting away from negative thinking. From your post, that is one thing that you will need to work on. I'm working on it, myself, and there is improvement. Stay with the positiv...

I've been off caffeine for some time, at least on the coffee, tea, and soda side. Certain cookies and choclate is hard. My favorite ice cream is choclate and vanilla mix. I haven't had it in some time, but I would love to. Chips are a hard one to break. If I do get them, I get the small bag.

Re: addicted to caffeine
Here's how I did it ten years ago: I started by going in three day cycles - one day decaf and two days caffeine. Then I did one day decaf and one day caffeine. I might have gone two days decaf and one day caffeine until I went strictly decaf. The taste is different, but what I did was top the decaf ...

Re: Finding The Time ?
It is a lot of work for each session and I do as much as I can. They key is to stay with it. After you complete the 15 sessions, you can always return to some of the lessons or go through the program again. If you make progress of any kind, it's a good thing.

Re: hands shaking
I occasionally experienced it after driving. It happened yesterday when I drove up a steep highway mountain without Xanax (my choice). When I took some notes in the car, my hand shook some, but I was OK shortly after that. Last year, it happened when I was driving over a bridge with Xanax and it doe...

Re: session 2 just made me more depressed
My advice is to stay the course. It's not easy, but it's not easy as it currently is. Just keep applying the principles and you will improve. I have improved, but I still get frustrated that it's not completly over, yet I am staying with it. I may also go through the fifteen lessons again when I am ...

A good way to battle anxiety
For me, a good way of beating anxiety is to stay away from internet forums, except this one. Many of these, no matter what the topic, have subjects where I get sucked into an endless debate/argument that ends up leaving me angry and I don't need it. I want to find peace with myself and it doesn't he...
