Re: Driving on highways
Every time you make a little more progress---get exited and happy about it! =) That's what I'd do---instead of thinking, ugh 20 more miles, how am I gonna do it ?!? Just look at it and think, 1 down, another 1/2 mile done, oh wow already another 1/2, now I'm at 2, doing great!! Sounds chessy, but jus...

I have realized that I have perfectionist tendencies. Not for everything, but for some things it is very obvious. For instance, for the program I am beating myself up that I haven't kept a jornal even tho asked since session one. So, I worry I won't "do" as well. I'm going to retrace past week or tw...

Thanks "myeyesopen" I do the SAME thing! I wanted to keep mvoing, a session each week, so 15 weeks. I've been on 1 for about 2, 2 1/2 weeks now, and I'm just doing 2. No shame in it. Not gonna help myself by beating myself up over it---b/c before I'd just go to bed and put it off eve ntho it's impor...

Re: Scared of traveling...or being away from home.
I had the same trouble last summer. I knew my anxiety was at an alarming level because I used to be fine traveling and doing things alone/on my own. I forced myself to go places just around town, running errands. (10 minutes away from home) I started seeing a counselor to help me with this and so I ...
