I find myself getting stuck trying to change my negative thoughts into positive thoughts. In the session 3 cd, they say that our negative thoughts aren't true... but sometimes they are! Example: "I'm so behind on my bills, and I can't pay them." That's definitely true! Or: "I can't afford to get eye...

Bruxism, which can worsen TMJ, can cause headaches (one side or both), shoulder tension, neck pain, and numbness around the mandibular joint. A mouth guard is definitely a good idea.

I'm on Celexa (I take it in the evening), and I do get very tired on it. But I also know that my fatigue is much worse when I feel more depressed. So, I'm going to stick with it and see if my tiredness improves as I work through the program and get a better handle on my depression. I'm just so sick ...

I've definitely found this session very challenging... and it does induce anxiety when I do the homework. But I feel that it's ultimately therapeutic. Digging deep into our feelings and addiction to negative thinking is bound to be tough but eventually healing. I too feel like I've taken a step back...
