Re: Constant Bloating/Gas
This is a great question. I would also like to know answers on this because I feel the same way. I also have GERD. I feel like I need to burp constantly and am so uncomfortable at times.

Re: high stress scary thoughts need advice
I think what helps me a lot is knowing that you're not alone in this. What I mean is, your symptoms seem like they're certainly anxiety/stress related and that you need to work on coping. I'm not exactly the one to talk, but deep breathing seems to be the ticket for a lot of people. If you still hav...

Re: Extreme debilitating symptoms
I like your point about being an observer to the anxiety. It's so hard for me though when the symptoms are so strong because it feels like I am getting punched in the gut. Plus, my biggest symptom lately is not being able to breathe well and it is extremely difficult for me to take a deep breath and...

Re: Never Give Up
Thanks for taking the time to write that. It is helpful to hear others who are or were going through the same things. I don't feel that panicky today, but when I stand, my gut starts to hurt and I get very short of breath. It sometimes gets to the point where I feel very faint and like passing out. ...

Re: Rough day....need a "pick me up"
Thanks again Mimi. I do the breathing techniques and when I'm having a tough time breathing it is hard to get a full deep breath. I know I just need to calm down probably, but it's so hard when I am feeling so terribly. I started writing down my negative thoughts today, so hopefully I will see my pa...

Re: Rough day....need a "pick me up"
Thanks Mimi, It was great to hear from someone as supportive as you. The absolute hardest part for me is beleiving that my symptoms are caused solely by anxiety, stress, and/or depression. I don't understand how I can feel so terribly just from this. Even now, after my wife is home from work and I f...

Rough day....need a "pick me up"
After a weekend of perhaps small improvements. I spent the whole day today alone on the couch. I'm clearly depressed to an extent, but the symptoms are crazy. I can lay down and feel decent for the most part, but as soon as I stand up or walk around, all of a sudden it gets really hard to breathe. I...

Re: Heart palpatations-help
I too have struggled with these for years. Sometimes worse than others. The scariest thing for me was it was never even mentioned to me by a doctor that it could be stress/anxiety related. I just went on to another test. I went to specialists and different tests and everything checks out just fine. ...

Re: Extreme debilitating symptoms
Thanks! I do have GERD. I have been taking dexilant for some time now and it certainly helps with the acidity, but I still have the reflux. I just now switched back to 2 omeperazole per day, but there has been more acidity with it. I also had some ulcers that were apparently fixed by taking the dexi...

Re: Extreme debilitating symptoms
Yes, that's very much what it feels like. I could just be sitting in a chair and all of a sudden it feels like the wind was knocked out of me. I have had my sugars tested. I think I was in the 80's about 1.5 hours after eating cereal and juice. Apparently that's within normal range....but I'm no exp...
