Re: Does weight come off after weaning off meds?

I have gained 40 lbs over the last two years being on Celexa. For Lent, I am doing the HCG diet drops and low calories. I truly pray that my body doesn't get chemically unbalanced and trigger a downward spiral in my depression. Has anyone trirf HCG? My MD wouldn't comment on it and my Pharmacist tho...

Re: Anyone living alone out there?

Welcome Charm City- I am also a newbie to this website and have wondered if this site is too tainted by porn and issues other than people truly trying to recover from anxiety and depression. I'm not living alone but am lonely is the respect that others don't understand my constant pain and I get exh...

Re: What makes you cry?

I received my invite, Mrs. T. I'm afraid to REPLY because this wesite is so tainted with hackers. Your invite was sent into the spyware and when I clicked deliver it went to junk. Sorry if my typing is bad, my yorkie seems to think my lap is all hers when I'm on the computer :D

Re: What makes you cry?

Wow, Inner Peace, I have been trying to stop crying for three years. I mostly cry about my family moving to different parts of the country, kids grown and gone, brother's divorce, etc. A lot of losses to absorb. I remember a movie called Simon Birch from the 1990s that was very good. I recently list...

Re: Anyone living alone out there?

Thanks for the responses. Sometimes it's easier to be alone than to be with people who don't "get you". And when you're alone you tend to be more open to communication with others...even if it's just listening and offering encouragement. I find myself feeling lonliest when I'm in a crowd of people.....

Re: Anyone living alone out there?

I too feel like I'm treated differently because I don't fit in with the "norm". I raised a son by myself then married when he went to college. My husband has no children so we are empty nesters except for the two-year-old yorkshire terrier and we take care of his elderly parents who have a trailer o...

Re: klonapin is it better

Where does lorazapam fit in with these? I used to abuse it a little until my driving suffered (yeah I took out some mail boxes too) but now just take 1mg before bed and occasionally 1 mg if I get myself worked up. It too makes me tired, so I really don't like to take it before 2:00 pm

Re: HCG diet and Lexapro?

Your question about HCG diet is why I joined tonight. My MD would not comment when I asked him. I really would like to know how others recovering from depression/anxiety experienced any set backs. Have you started yet? Shots or drops? Are you going to follow the extreme version of the 500 calorie di...
