Re: Depression & Anxiety - My Story

Depression seems to be returning - I stopped taking the BuSpar a few weeks ago as I was having too many side effects and started on a lower dosage of celexa which I was on for a few months last year. I am not sure what is going on - I have not been motivated to continue through the program, and my e...

Re: Newbie hoping for a miracle.

I am also divorced after a 16 or 17 year relationship (married for 13 years - divorce finalized feb 23rd 2011). I have my two boys every weekend. I have problems with my leg because of a motorcycle accident a few years ago. I have MRSA staph deep inside my leg - it's much better now, but I am still ...

Re: Anxiety in the morning

My anxiety in the morning happens because I immediatally feel like I just want to go back to bed (SOOOO tired every morning) and that most likely I will be late for work. If I could figure out how to not be tired in the morning (feel refreshed instead) and wake up a little earlier then my morning an...

Re: Waiting for something to change

Hi back! I know how it can feel with the "I feel so behind everyone else" statement. There is alot of things that many of us feel we are behind in, or unable to participate in because of our conditions. All I can say is try and squash this type of thought - you have your own destiny and you have ple...

Re: new member

welcome aboard!

seems like you are on the right track. I, as well, have problems pulling out the computer/paper to write down my thoughts. Also been having problems moving through the sessions lately, but I still like to come back to this forum and check in now and then.

Re: Mini Panic Attacks?

Most of my physical form of anxiety (tightness in chest, nervousness) has subsided with the complete removal of all benzo's - no more ativan, valium, benzo related sleeping pills (restoril), etc. I stopped taking ativan about a month ago and started feeling much better physically, two weeks ago I wa...

Re: Are you all as exhausted as I am?

Tommy, do you know what triggered your anxiety attack that day? Were you just tired and overwhelmed with too much going on? Or was there something else that kicked in that adrenaline? I have been feeling the same way the last few days due to a family member that is near impossible to deal with...I ...

Re: New here, need some partners

Hi, Tommy. I was just reading your post and it seems to me that someone who is so down on himself, you've made some pretty amazing things. Just getting on this program is big, that and the fact you've decided to separate yourself from the negative people in your life says a lot about the person you...

Re: New Member Needs Help

westlynne56 - yes, I as well had problems when I stopped taking ativan - it was then pointed out to me that the ativan was probably making the anxiety worse as this drug was never really designed to take it for more than 2-4 weeks. What I found was that my anxiety doubled, even trippled when I would...
