Hi knursed, I understand how you feel and I know it is hard to be incapable of doing something that is so important to you. Just give yourself time. We've been thinking negatively for so long (and for some of us, just now realizing it), that we can't expect to change our thought patterns in just a week. Keep on using the positive thought replacement writing. But don't get caught up in thinking that you have to write down...
