Usually my self-criticism would have gotten in the way of doing something like this, but I'm definitely less affected now by what other people think and ...

I started this session the Thursday before this past Thursday and through mid-afternoon Monday I was doing great. Lots of momentum from day to day, losing the fear of having a panic attack, and doing more and more each day. Then Monday at the gym I pulled a muscle pretty badly. So I had to take pres...

Musigaljm, A lot of great advice here. I can relate from the standpoint of anticipating what will happen tomorrow and how that can trigger the anxiety. Additionally, its possible you might have many minor moments of anxiety during your workday (I can't imagine how you couldn't!)and the small amounts...

Laura, Yah that is a good idea, I'll give it a shot. I started the program yesterday and now I'm trying to make a plan of how I'm going to start challenging myself again and using the steps when and if the panic comes. This is tough stuff! haha. Yes I'm Italian/Sicilian...one of my friends gave me t...

Thanks Laura, that's great you've made so much progress. I'm starting session 2 today, which I have mixed emotions about I guess. On the one hand, I've very excited because panic attacks are the #1 thing I want to put a stop to. On the other hand I'm sort of afraid that it won't work for me, so I al...

Wow, I'm nervous just reading that.....I used to go out on boats for hours w/out bathrooms but now forget it. Of course I know I'll eventually be able to do that again. I have an upcoming trip and I have to make a 6 hour drive from Phoenix to LA....long stretches of nothing between the 2 cities. I'm...

Speaking about eating out...last night i went to a friend's house for dinner. Usually I eat light so as not to encourage any stomach problems, but they prepared the dinner especially for our anniversary and it was so good that i ate more than usual. I felt fine for the most part but then as I starte...
