First, try to turn it into a comical situation, for instance, imagine you're boxing with your daughter and she break out into a Ninja outfit and twirls you over her head and tosses you through the wall into a swimming pool of rubber duckies. Then looking up you see your daughter giggling at you whil...

I've had this same problem for years until I started working this program. Basically in the past I would walk into a situation as you described and try to control it all. I would quickly become fragmented then frustrated then overwhelmed then exhausted. I would leave with my mind spinning and confus...

Exercise till you drop, but only after you've cleared with your doctor you're healthy enough for exercise. I had to ease off stimulates as well, coffee and sugar kept me wired and accentuated and mimiced panic attacks. I use to be so self conscious that I thought everyone was looking at me and focus...

I just did three RTs in a row today. There was no harm done, I guess there is no hard and fast rule. Somedays I've only done one and I'm still here. Regarding the homework I'm a pretty busy executive and somehow I do manage to find time to do the homework, it's really not that time consuming or exte...

It starts when I arrive at a meeting a little early and there are unfilled seats on either side of me. As people start steaming in I c...

As I get deeper into the program I'm finding a multitude of things which I've neglected to do and just let slip over the years. Now I'm waking up to all this and it's a bit overwhelming. The anxiety and depression has kept me in this sort of sleep mode for a few years, now I'm struggling to get fina...

I've been involved with the program a few short days and I'm so relieved to hear others have had the same experiences I've had with panic attacks (so bad I had to sleep in an emergency room), scary thoughts about harming others and highway outfreakages. I've carried the burden of thinking I was alon...

I'm just getting started and loving working the program but at night I've been having some rather extreme nightmares, very scary ones. Is this typical at the onset? It's scary having them yet I feel like it's actually helping as I've noticed a considerable amount of calmness.
