Suzy,
I really enjoyed Eckert Tolle's other book, "The Power of Now." It was a sensational book :-). In fact, I now own a copy of it.
I will add his new book to my library list, read it, and see what I think. I have a feeling that I might like this one, too :-)
Thanks for the recommendation ...

Minn,
Jessica's behavior in the beginning (i.e. cutting you off when you were going to get into the elevator at work) could be construed as sexual harrasment which, in most work places, is not tolerated. I think the definition of sexual harassment is any behavior, of a sexual nature or intent, that ...

I just wanted to see what others think of this book. I picked it up recently (my cousin was the first to recommend it to me), and I'm really enjoying it. In fact, I have placed it on my Amazon shopping list, along with the companion book, so that I can purchase a copy (I am thinking about giving as ...

Today, I went to the downtown library. I live in a place where the downtown area is typically associated with poverty and low income, though there are many county buildings/offices in this area, as well, so county employees make up some of the diversity.
Anyway, while I was in the library today, I ...

Has anyone read, "I'm OK, You're OK" ? I did a search for it in this forum, and I'm surprised that it's not mentioned here. I'm thinking about borrowing it from the library, and I wanted to read any recommendations/feedback/thoughts that there might be about it.
Once I have read it, I might post my ...

For the past month, when I have been out and about, I have been noticing other people's trembling voices. For most of my life, I have had some social anxiety/shyness, but I have never actively noticed others' voices trembling when I have spoken with them or been around two or more people conversing ...

Hi Peter--
I felt the same way when I started listening to Lucinda's tapes. I thought that she was talking far too quickly, and it made me question whether I would benefit from the program. After listening to the first tape a few times, I started to get used to her voice and, now, I really enjoy ...

Hi, BeatAnxiety--
I was brought up as a UU. Right now, I consider myself to be Buddhist-Pagan, and I attend a Buddhist Temple on occasion. I was also a Psychology student in college (love this subject!), though I switched over to teaching...even though I'm not currently a teacher, either (I have ...
