Honeydew, You are not alone. I think everyone of us on here can say that we have heart issues. But rest assured, it IS the anxiety (especially since you have gone to doctors with no results). Palpitations, thumping heart beat, constant awareness of your heart beat, are all common symptoms of anxiety...

Selina, From my own personal experience, I would like to say that suicidal thoughts that are frighting also do come into play. If your brain is using this as a scary "what if" way of thinking. I am personally seeing a psychologist, and I highly recommend seeing one as well as using the program. Suic...

Derik, Well it seem like we're on the same page then :). Sorry for the confusion! That is what I personally practice, I accept that it's my anxious brain, and an anxious thought without giving it any power...just recognition and moving on, and that puts a stop to the "Am I going crazy?" "Am I going ...

Honestly, I think it's what works best for each and every individual. You can agree and disagree with all methods, but if one works for you then go for it. I've personally tried the "bring it on" mentality while facing my fear, and guess what...made me have MORE panic attacks, because I gave it the ...

I'm currently on Xanax and Prozac and my husband and I have been discussing children. So in preperation for pregnancy I have been tapering down on xanax for the past 2 weeks. Hello all, Anyone here to help would be wonderful. I am a newlywed, and we've been married since April 08. We are discussing children, and of course I want to have a baby with my husband. Hey, to each their own on religion. I don't know about you, but when people say "evil" and "anxiety" in the same sentence it tends to make me more anxious. HAHA, imagine that! I'm writing to share my knowledge on what I've learned from my own anxiety. I can help when it comes to why you feel sick, o...

Hi Mack, I'm hoping I can be a bit more helpful for you. As it is important for us ALL to see a doctor if our obsessive scary thoughts intrude into our life, it is also important for you to understand what your brain is doing, so you can put a stop to it. All obsessive scary thoughts, whether they b...
