I have that same problem. I pick my lip and area's of my skin to the point where i have scars. I didn't realize that this was a side effect of anxiety until recently. I have been doing this for so many years and just thought i was weird.

My husband and i have started trying to have a baby and i am really worried about the affects of my anxiety on pregnancy. My doctor told i would have to get off my meds, Lexapro, once pregnant but said that i might be cured due to hormone problems. Anyone had any experiance with this?
