That must be so hard for all of you. I think I am strange in some ways because I know people with anxiety don't like being alone, but I do. What I try to think of instead of seeing being alone as a bad thing is that it's my time. I love being able to do what I want to do when I want to do it. I live...

I don't know what to say, but I am so sick of myself and I don't know what to do. Why is it that I just don't seem to ever figure out how to learn from my mistakes? I don't understand why I can't protect myself from experiences that hurt me. I can't trust anyone and so I am constantly trying to conv...

KarenLeigh, I was just reading about the vagus nerve response to certain types of stimulation and bending over is one of the cause of that stimulation which may be causing the visual changes you are experiencing. I have a copy of the information that I found and would be happy to send it to you. I f...

I have read several responses and the one that makes perfect sense is the vagus nerve stimulation. I now understand that the blacking out is part of an extreme emotional response which causes my heart rate and/or blood pressure to suddenly drop causing me to black out. Then my body responds with neg...

Hi Frances, Thank you for your reply. No, I don't have any medical or injury phobias. It is always situational...and an immediate physiological reponse. I do believe that the dizziness, for me, is because my pulse gets up to 120 beats per minute and I am sure that I am breathing fast as well. So, I ...

I am not sure what it is...it is instantaneous. I think that if it were breathing it would take a minute or so. This was within about a second of the event that upset me. Could it be too much adrenalin being released suddenly? I haven't researched that so I don't really know. Maybe a rush of blood t...

I am just wondering if anyone, in the midst of a panic attack gets so bad that they start to black out. I have never fainted, but part of my vision goes black. I also, have chest pains, and difficulty breathing, and heart palpitations...of which I know are typical symptoms. Any one experince similar...
