I'm looking to move out of my parents house and be on my own for the first time as well. I'm 28 and would like to have my own space. However, I'm scared to death! I try to think of all the positives in it, like having friends over when I want, to have peace and quiet, etc. Then all the scary stuff c...

Wow, it's kind of funny, that sort of seems to be what I'm going through. I've had anxiety for as long as I can remember, but I was fifteen when I was diagnosed with GAD and depression. But it has never been to the extreme that it's gotten to the past half year or so. I'm taking the spring semester ...

Hello Holly J - I tried Celexa and Xanux for three days when my anxiety/panic first started. It was a horrible experience for me. It made my condition much worse. That's when I found the herbalist that I see. I've been taking his recommended supplements since April '08 and I am feeling terrific. He ...

Heather had some great advice. You need to get in touch with your inner self. Those feelings we have about ourself are learned. THey come from external sources such as our parents, schools, the media. Inside each of us there is this unlimited potential that needs to break free of the contraints that...

It's been a long time since I've been here, but I'm feeling lost today and need some support. I have completed the program and was doing really well until I put myself back into the dating scene. I recently joined one of those online dating services but it's been the worst thing for me. The constant...

Must be something in the air. I had been doing so well, then bam, the insomnia came back and I'm having some anticipatory anxiety lately. Mostly on the weekends. Not sure if it's because I have the extra time then or what. Trying to distract myself by working in the flowerbeds and reading. Will keep...

Im so sorry you have to deal with all that noise. I know it can be very debilitating at times. It's good that you are dealing with it though. Sometime's I just have to literally cover my ears. Hope things get better for you.

Thanks Del, you put a smile on my face today. I will try the music. Music is so soothing to me anyway and it will probably expose a lot of children to a new genre of music that they probably don't get to experience at home. Today is so much better. I have a tiny piece of cotton in my left ear (so I'...
