John, I wake up with anxious feelings too. Even after I take a nap in the afternoon or evening, I wake up anxious. I found that if I get moving, the anxiety goes away. I try to reassure myself that's it's only 'wake up anxiety'. Listening to relaxation exercises before going to sleep has helped to. ...

You're right how good you feel when you start doing the positive self talk. It really changes how you feel. The book you're talking about (what to say to yourself) is on Lucinda's "Solutions" CD's. She interviews the author who's name is Shad.
