hi. i always tend to stay on the safe side with doctors so i say go get the colonoscopy. let the doctors diagnose you, don't diagnose yourself. if the worst thing that comes out of the test is that they just find ibs then what do you have to lose? i had one done a few months ago and it doesn't hurt ...
