I'm wondering for those who have gone through the program, I imagine you are a lot less sensitive than when you started, but would you still consider yourself a "sensitive personality"? I'm definitely a sensitive person. I'm not sure if part of this will always be part of my core personality though ...

Tracey, It's perfectly natural to feel more anxious and frustrated at this point in the program. You're actually facing everything straight on! Instead of hiding from your feelings you're dealing with them. Give yourself permission to feel this way. Also, medication is a tool if you need it. Sometim...

Hi Lawgirl, The fact that you've had the success you've had is wonderful! Maybe you're thinking you're not weaning off quick enough but everyone has their own pace. The fact that you are trying is the important part! How are you finding talking yourself out of panic attacks? Is that working for you?...

I agree with Gman! Take it one step at a time. The kit comes with a lot of stuff and it can be tempting to go through and figure out what all of it is, but start one tape at a time and move at your own pace. Also, the relaxation tape is your friend! When I first started I had to use it 3x a day and ...

I'm sure a lot of you deal with feeling isolated and lonely too so I thought I'd start a topic on it. I currently have no local friends or family where I live. I moved here for work 1 and a half years ago. My only socialization comes from a few short conversations at work, or phone calls home. I try...

I've felt the same way. It's odd though since companionship is one of the big wants I have in life. However I'm used to being alone, doing my own thing, and I find sometimes in relationships my emotions can almost feel more intensified. Do you think you are at a point though where you can bring some...

Wow Kelly. I don't know how I'd manage a situation like that. I know what it is like living in an isolated place with no friends or family but if I had a husband I think I'd expect support from him. Expectations are a tricky thing though. I've lived in a small town where I know nobody for 1.5 years ...

Talking with others and "connecting" with others are two very different things. I find I can talk to others and small talk fine but it is taking an initial meeting to a friendship that is the hard part. Sometimes other people won't respond for their own reasons, but I try to focus on what I can do s...
