Stress Center Peer Support

Ok all, I'm new to Combatting Stress and Depression Program. So here goes being positive.

1. I have a new toy fox Terrier that I named "Big Island Reef" Reef is his call name. He is as cute as they come and a joy to have in my life. He is 3 months now and weighs 3lbs now.

2. I have my health. So far I have lost 25 lbs and shrinking.

3. Well, you know that old song that says, "it never rains in Southern California". Well, "it aint true". lol. because we had a bunch of it this morning with the sun peaking through the clouds to make it a very nice afternoon.

Well, that's it for today.

Keli, what a cutie! I don't think I would ever leave the house if I had a little pup like that!

Hubby is out of town and I've got the house all to myself. Kitty and I have decided to watch nothing but chick flicks till he comes home.

Gorgeous sunny day today!

Went farther on the treadmill tonight than I have in weeks! (theme from Rocky is playing in my head right now)

Hey Hot Rod,

I am glad to hear that you are training to be "Rocky" lol. I still need to get on the treadmill. Although, I have lost 27 lbs now and shrinking. (that is my number one positive thing today).

yesterday was great. It started out kinda slow, you know, I had my tea, talked to my life coach at 8am, then I read in the workbook, then by mid afternoon I started to clean the cat box(eeew) but it needed to be done. they were happy I did it too. lol. then I had a phone call from a friend that was a little tense so it sent me into panic mod and I was going to call her back and really let her have it but I stopped and remembered the tools I have been learning. so, I said to myself, she is projecting her expectations on me, that is her problem not mine. Then I redirected my energy and attention on cleaning my bedroom top to bottom. after I was done I felt so good. I took a shower and had dinner. boy I slept good last night!

And #3 is that it is a beautiful sunny morning and i think I will go for a walk with my puppy.

BTW, I love chick flicks.

1) Made it through the dentist appointment with flying colours !

2) It's 82 degrees today

3) It's almost the weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekenddddddddddddddd

Congratulations, manofmusic!

1. Went to NYC for a new-tech meeting. Was feeling anxious and maybe-I-should-skip-it a lot, but pressed through that silliness and went ahead and had fun.

2. Had a nice birthday yesterday. My daughter made me a cake and gave me a beautiful abalone pendant.

3. My neighbor re-screened his own window screens for cheap, and said it was easy. Hmmmm! I should try this!

Had some sprinkle showers outsid which is making everything pretty and green

Had a good nights sleep and some much needed rest

Thankful for each and everyday and how I am learning to Let Go and Live in the Here and Now! The Precious Present Moment!!

1) Slept in today and didn't feel guilty about it.

2) Had a great time last night going out with a gf and playing pool. Lordy, I stink at that game

3) Getting some nice gentle rain that is so soothing to listen to
