I could see how that previous situation made you upset. It really sounds like you are addressing the problem now - and recognizing it - so that you can do something positive about it! Good for you!!!

p.s. be PROUD of yourself for at least being aware of the issue and acknowledging it isnt working helps immensely

when I was diagnosed with OCD it was a relief to me b.c. I was now aware of it!
