Hello,
Did anybody try the free coaching session that the center offers? I dont know if it was expectations again? Or its my feeling that the center owe's me something...? but I was completely turned of by the fact that they didnt really listen to what I had to say for 45 minutes. And then they ended it with them trying to sell me more stuff. The program is great but it is already expensive enough. Am i completely having too high expectaions again? Is the coaching worth it?
Thanks
Bogey
Life Coaching
Hi,
I took the program on my own almost over a year and a half ago and it made a huge improvement in my life. I than fell back into my old habits(very gradually-didn't see it coming) and a snowball effect of circumstances led me back into a horrible place of anxiety and depression.
I decided to go for the personalized coaching. I'm just starting the 12th session and I can tell you that my coach has been very helpful, plus it forces me to keep on track, which I very much needed. Yes, it costs a lot(2,000.dollars)but for me, I needed the push and the discipline. I also needed on going encouragement.
At the beginning you have to fill out a whole bunch of personal questions so that StressCenter can match you up with an appropriate coach. All of the coaches have been through the program themselves due to having anxiety and depression. My coach has been recovered for 12 years and has been a personalized coach for 9. Like my coach says, if you take it seriously and to heart, and really want to change, anything is possible. I believe that is true.
The program is the same as the original one except it comes in one binder and with a lot of added comments, helpful tips from the other coaches. This section has really helped me. There's other helpful info as well.
If you can afford it, I highly recommend it. The bulk of the work still has to come from US!! If you need the extra push, the coach is a great way to go. It's all about trusting and believing, especially in yourself. The coach really helps you see that.
