Any other recovering meth addicts in the program?

I don't know if you'd call me an addict, but I used to do meth years ago at least once or twice a week. All the sudden one day I decided "no more" and within a week or two is when I started having the panic attacks. I guess I was somehow medicating. It's funny that meth made me feel calmer. LOL
These days, my body won't handle any medication. I have to be on my death bed with a cold and then I take the dose for a 12 year old. I didn't even take medication when I had my last baby. The first one I had an epi but nothing else.
And years ago . . . gosh. . .I'd take anything that my friends offered me. How times change!

Hi Tyler,
I cannot say I have that experience, but we have a son who is a recovering addict. I just want to encourage you for being so courageous, and tell you that you are on the right track. Our son also suffers from depression at times and we have recommended this program to him, but so far he has declined. It has been a life changer for me, and I pray that it will do the same for you.
I will watch for your posts:)
