Do I continue or repeat week 3
Hi, I am just finishing week 3 and am supposed to start week 4(yesterday). I don't feel like I have mastered the positive self talk. Do I continue with the program or should I repeat week 3 until I get it. I am doing a lot better since starting the program so I know it is working, I just don't want to rush it. I'm thinking if I keep going it will all fall together and get easier to do that positive self talk. Just want to know what you think
glad you're seeing improvement and feeling better. i vote move on to week 4.
everyone's different--but you seem ready. you can, perhaps, use lesson 3 as enrichment materials later. i played lesson 3 pretty much all through the program (i've been done for a couple of years--but i pulled the tape out last week--it's one of those great things to go back to and brush up on)
you'll get a chance to go over things in lesson 3 again later. trust me.

Keep going. The skills you learn will take longer than a week to master so dont be discouraged if you need more time we all do. But I suggest you keep going and continue to use the lessons prior everyday.
The skills in this program are skills you will used every single day of your life from this point on....its a commitment to a lifestyle change. The lessons give you the material you need to learn but you have to apply it to your everyday living. So keep going and keep learning each lesson will build upon the last.
When you are all done with the 15 lessons you will find yourself playing lessons to review as you need them later in life. Your doing a fine job. Congratulations on your progress so far.....

I don't want to tell you NOT to keep going, because of course you can. I do know that as I moved forward, I repeatedly would review lesson three along the way...I even think it's part of our homework.
So, while you are working on lesson 4 keep working on lesson 3 as well...getting it under your belt. Or, it's ok to take an extra week with it. I believe it is one of the most comforting...and at the same time important lessons in the whole package.
I still come back to lesson 3 when I fall off the wagon a little or have a growth spurt. Go at your own pace and give yourself permission to do that.
You are doing it!

Hello Momma and Karen.
I, too, think that you should move forward because Lucinda will always have you go back and revisit previous lessons to make sure are mastering your skills. When I did the program, I was unsure at the same point that you are. I just continued and was surprised at how many times I had to work on positive self talk it the comming lessons.
Keep going.
