13 year old with racing heart

My daughter is 13 and a couple times she has complained of a racing heart and dizziness. I took her to the doctor and they did an ekg - it was normal. Could she be suffering from anxiety? I am so scared for two reasons.... one that she might have something wrong OR that she has anxiety.

It could be anxiety, that is one of my symptoms, along with a tightness in my chest and difficulty breathing. It happens to me about once a day and usually when I am trying to relax.

Thank you that makes me feel better. I know I get panicky sometimes and my heart will race and I will be panicky for no reason (that I can tell). She's young she may not know that she feels panicky??? I just want to be sure we didn't miss anything.

This was my biggest problem. I thought something was wrong with me and I can't tell you how many tests they've done on my heart. All came out normal. It is definitely very uncomfortable and very scary as well. In fact I lived it today. Your daughter will be fine.

Thank you Danilo - to make matters worse my 3 year old came up to me and told me her heart was beating very fast. I hope this is coincidental.
