Anyone finding it difficult to want to listen to the sessions?

They put me to sleep, especially when Dr. Fisher is talking. I think of it as a new way to relax. If I fall asleep, I play it again when Im more awake.

I find that I have resistance to some subjects and I have to force myself to listen. This is very common when it hits emotionally close to home, so to speak. Sleepiness, distraction, irritability, etc. are all signs of discomfort.

I really like listening to the sessions. I enjoy Lucinda and her honesty and some of her quirky stories. I like the people on the discussion part too. I find myself really liking these people. I like honest people who share how they have overcome problems. That in itself has helped me realize I am not really that different from a lot of people. The people I use to think had it all together may not have...they may have just been trying to hide insecurities just like me. I find it easier to be in social settings now. I am less concerned about what other people are thinking about me because I now realize it really does not matter what they think about me because I do not depend on them for major needs in my life, ie paycheck. I have fallen asleep listening some, but I think it is because I feel so relaxed. That's why I listen several times in order to pick up more information each time or to see me through a rough time. I like to listen to them while I walk around the grocery store or just shopping or walking, or working in the yard....my husband downloaded the sessions to an MP3 player so I can listen on the go. I feel validated after listening to the sessions and then I am able to enjoy being around other people and listening to them and yes.....analyzing them in a good way. I wish I had this program 40 years ago.
