Anxiety....depression....we all have it but everyone should seek the good of it all.....
There IS good anxiety...a nervous bride, a big test, making a presentation, starting a new job, having and taking care of a new baby, having a blind date, getting good news after waiting in a doctors office for an illness, going to the gym for the first time, there are so many AND THEY ARE GOOD ANXIETIES.!!!!
But of course we tend to be overcome with the bad ones. If we just shut the bad news out a little every day, such as TV news, negative people and conversations and introduce the good things little by little we will have that feeling of accomplishment and gain our control back. I have went through my introductory tapes and booklet...I am not scared of this, I am dealing with MYSELF who I think understands me better than anyone. I also invert myself like I am on the outside looking in and try to visualize what I may appear to others....I try not to THINK of the proper why to act in front of others. I try to be empathetic with people keeping their problems at a distance but not so that I cannot help them. Everyone deserves to be treated as you would like to be treated with kindness and respect. Its MYSELF I am dealing with here, someone I know, someone I grew up with, someone that needs their own help to grow stronger. I am that person that will help myself and conquer it. As with everyone on this site.....they are their strongest own allies in this war.........we take one battle at a time. creamcheese
