I understand where you are coming from. It can look very overwhelming but...first off, you can't fail the program. If you put effort into the program then you will make progress and that is success no matter how little you put in it. Of course the ammount will influence how much you can get out of the program.

If you read what it says for homework it says it isn't mandatory but that those action assignments will help and do as many as you can.

Lets make this simple...what you need to learn in order to overcome this condition is to relax. Thats what it is when you really break it down into basics. You can always come back to the lessons again (in fact the program will tell you to go back to certain lessons and relisten to the tapes). It also says to go through the program a 2nd time. Don't try to remember just learn and understand what it's trying to tell you and then it'll stick. Could take some time but it'll stick.

When I received the program, I felt that it was a bit overwhelming too. But as I'm moving along, things are falling into place.

Take your time. There's no rush! We all want to be better tomorrow, but we know that's not thinking rationally. And we're all good at that, or we wouldn't be here.

Slow down, break it down into pieces, and go for it! :)

If there was a pile of all the food you had to consume in your lifetime right in front of you, do you think you would be overwhelmed by that? This is the same idea with the program.

I really think you can do this program at your own pace. I try to listen to the relaxation CD right before I go to bed. It helps me fall asleep. I used to lay in bed while my heart raced - tossing and turning. I listen the CD's while I am driving to work, then driving back home. You need to work it into your life without making it a hassle. If you don't have time to do the workbook or listen to a CD, do it the next day. Do at least something everyday. I have enough stress in my life (and I'm sure you do to) that the last thing you need is to add more stress. Don't let this be a stress factor, it is supposed to help you.

I know what you mean. I have two young kids and I don't have nearly enough time to do everything in the program. But I'm just doing as much as I can. For example, I can't possibly do the relaxation cd three times a day. So I just do it once before bed. It's helpful to do what you can but do what works with your schedule. It won't mean the program won't work. You are still gaining skills just by trying.
