I couldn't get off session 1 because I couldn't follow through on all the suggestions as specified. I don't exercise everyday, I don't listen to the relaxation tape 3 times a day, I can't quit the sugar completely, but I'm moving on.
If I keep waiting to do that first week perfectly, I'm never going to get past it. I believe that I will find healing if I keep going anyway because I felt so encouraged after the 1st day. I knew that this program was an answer to my prayer regarding depression. By procrastinating on the program, my depression came back so I knew it was time to move on.
5 weeks to get through session 1

Its ok if you can't get down everything that they say to do, just continue working on it through the next weeks...but keep going! It's important to make sure you stick with it as much as possible, and trust me, everything will begin to fall into place. If you feel you need to go back and re-listen to the previous week, then go for it! But try to move on each week to a new lesson, you'll get more out of it that way!
Best of luck to you!
Best of luck to you!

Hi Angie. I just checked my post from sunday to see if I got any responses and I was glad to see that you took the time to encourage me on. I really appreciate it. I have begun session 2 and because of my personal responsibilities, it's really hard to do it as well as I should, but I will just keep going. I bought a dvd player so that I can watch the videos at work at lunch time. Thank you.

If you can master any one of the lessons in the suggested 1 week or even 5 then you deserve a million dollars because it is very unlikely that you or anybody else can do that and is very very unrealistic.
Do you know how hard it is to simply listen to the relaxation cd even once a day when you first begin the program? We are constantly in the fight or flight and the last thing we feel like doing is relaxing.
Don't expect yourself to all of a sudden go from not doing something to doing it 100%. Don't expect yourself to exercise everyday when you aren't used to it. Don't push yourself sooo hard with the relaxation tape right now and don't try to quit sugar completely, you can take time to cut down on it.
