Just started session 2. It's been a rough few months. Counseling has been intense. I have many issues with anxiety and depression. Time to truly heal. Having quite a bit of anxiety tonight because I'm feeling really overwhelmed by all the pain attached to these issues. Still worried about the medication I'm taking too. I'm feeling stronger, but still hit the wall at times and get scared I'll crack. Struggling with the what if's more tonight. Lots of crying. Wide open emotionally and trying to be patient with myself and allowing the feelings to flow...and know that I'll be ok if I do. I'm sending healing energy to everyone on here and on the path to recovery. Let us stay strong.

hello, can you please tell me about the CBT bk by sam obitz, and these tea sheets. how are you doing? started the program again, going through a health situation, and my thoughts are trying to get the best of me...just wanna get back to my happy, and not being afraid of my thoughts!!

I still use the TEA forms as part of my daily routine for a few minutes and they have changed my life. My therapist recommended I get the CBT book by Sam Obitz and do the TEA form exercise in it several years ago and I didn't follow through until someone posted on here about their success with them. About three years ago I got the book and started doing them and my life has completely turned around.

Hi, I'm just reading this one. Glad to know that CBT helps you as well. I hope I remember the posting right.

I sure hope they get this site back to how it used to be soon. I have noticed several threads with posts attributed to me that are not mine??? Really weird to see completely contradictory posts on the same thread from ME... What can you do? I just hope people that are new to these boards don't dismiss me as either multiple personality or schizzo

Yep, this is disconcerting to say the least.
I wonder if Mr Cleveland will come back and visit to find that he is a woman!
I would love to hear from Mr Cleveland and see how he is doing. He last posted that he would be having wisdom teeth pulled. I wonder how he did.
Yes, CBT forms are great! Very helpful, if it can cause me to wean off of anti-depressants and xanax after being on anti-depressants for at least 10 years. Not the Xanax though, that was added after I weaned off of one of my anti-depressants and was getting a rubbery leg feeling. That's gone now. Yippee! paislee

Hopefully they get it all worked out but like you said mr. cleveland can't be too thrilled by his sex change. Maybe his wisdom teeth were not all they took

I was on meds for years before learning cbt and becoming drug-free. Not as long as you though so that's really impressive

That's good to know that you've been on drugs for a while as well and then became drug free. That's makes me feel better. I don't like taking an Advil either, but finally succumbed to it because I was waking up very chilly in the wee hours of the night and figured I might just have a little bit of a fever. Also, I'm going through the womanly change and hormones have definitely declined. So I can't tell if my hot flashes are due to anxiety or menopause or the flu. Or withdrawals from taking Remeron.
