hello all. I used this program years ago and it worked wonders. Now I'm back. For about the past year I've been struggling with some SERIOUS anxiety. I am now back on blood pressure medications and take xanax when needed. The last few months have been extremely difficult for me in that I am having horrible nightmares. Has anyone else had this happen? i can go to bed thinking wonderful thoughts and wake up in the middle of the night to nightmares that scare me for the rest of the day. I have also taken a job for a complete lunatic which has just added to my stress. Work seems to stress me out more than anything as I was hired with 2 assistants and since have taken over the jobs of three people by myself because the others were fired but am completely terrified to change jobs because of the economy. I guess I'm just looking for someone to talk to and needed to vent. I think my job makes my anxiety so much worse.

Nightmares are no uncommon for us. You must practice letting them go each and every morning. You do this by focusing on your present moment. What are you doing right now? Stop focusing on your dream of the previous night. Sing a song, whistle and mostly welcome any thoughts in of the dream without you talking back to them. There's the dream. Fine. You do not have to talk to "it" or try to figure it out. Let it go this way and you will develop a new habit.
