Hello everyone,

The past week or so I've had no energy. I just feel lethargic and blah. Is this common for those with anxiety, panic, and depression? In the past I was just panic stricken, but not utterly lifeless.

Thanks,
W

Woodbridge - Get yourself out there. Go for a walk in the park, or down the street, or anywhere, but get some wonderful fresh air. Walk in the rain, carry an umbrella. Call a friend and talk about other things besides how you are feeling. (It's ok to talk about how you feel but just for now focus on other things outside of yourself.) Just talk. Go to a movie (an uplifting one), but get yourself out even when you don't feel like it. Your spirits will lift.

Hey Woodbridge

Every time I had a panic attack, it really wore me out. I would get so wound up and dizzy and nauseated. That would last for up to 15-20 minutes. I would get so tired after. Sometimes I had to go lay down for a bit. Once I got off the couch, I made a point to go for a walk. That seemed to ware off the attacks. It's important to look after yourself. It's quite common for lethargy to kick in.

I totally understand you with the tiredness. I used to be at work or anywhere for that matter, and be feeling just fine one minute, then out of the blue, I would feel extremely tired. It would just suddenly come over me, it would last for like 20 mins., or sometimes the rest of the day! It would also go away as suddenly as it would come over me! Weird huh? I would posts threads on here about it, and alot of ppl would say it would happen to them as well, that it was just apart of the anxiety. Like you they'd say get out and do something, so it would take my mind off of it. It still happens at times, but not as often as it used to. Stay positive, and when you get that tired feeling keep yourself positively busy. If you need a nap, take a nap, that also worked for me.
